Custom Screening Criteria...

Due to the unique nature of your business and clientele, you may require the creation of customized criteria to better reflect your needs.  All criteria changes must meet the basic CrimShield Criteria but can exceed them if desired... here is an example of one client's custom-defined criteria:
  • Any Felony ever**, for a crime of, including, but not limited to, violence (including domestic violence), assault, battery, threat, etc.; a crime involving a weapon that may put someone at risk; embezzlement; transaction card/check (bad checks), fraud or artifice, theft, burglary, or;robbery;
  • Any other Felony crime involving drugs or crime against a person or property for the last 10 years* from the date of conviction, release from custody, or the termination of parole or probation, whichever date occurs last;
  • Any Misdemeanor crime involving drugs or crime against a person or property within the last five (5) years from the date of the investigation;
  • Any crime of drug distribution (including intent to distribute) or manufacturing, or involvement in distribution or manufacturing, ever**;
  • Any sex crime OR crime against children, ever**;
  • Any pending or looming legal action which may result in a felony or misdemeanor conviction as set forth above;
  • Any open warrant or open criminal case;
  • A deferred sentence*, deferred prosecution*, diversion or suspended sentence shall be grounds for denial of a Certification;
  • Any crime of conspiracy or attempt related to the above offenses shall be treated in the same manner as the crime;
  • Expunged, set aside and dismissed, or sealed (if found) convictions shall be grounds for a denial of Certification without a gubernatorial or presidential pardon.
All Applicants must also meet the following:
  • No information has been found suggesting fraudulent identification or illegal immigration status; Have a Federal or State Government issued identification card.
  • Pass a 5 panel drug screen and have a valid driver’s license.
