A CrimShield IN, or Identification Number, is a unique CrimShield identifier (ex. IN-2Ws4-d345) which can be used in place of or in conjunction with your name to control access to your personal information.

Even a basic understanding of Internet search tools can expose personal information about you, like your social security number and your children's names and schools they attend.
